Antique Appliqued Album Quilt

This photo of Betsey Bogert Haring's album quilt was taken when it was displayed at the "Ladies Ramble" Quilt Show in May 1999. The quilt show was presented by the Bergen County Historical Society at New Bridge Landing Historic Park. Betsey Bogert Haring made the quilt in 1869, in her 57th year - as embroidered on the book held by the lady in blue in the center motif of the quilt. The quilt was anonymously donated to the Historical Society in 1948.
